What We Teach

Menifee Bible Church is Non-denominational

Scripture

We teach the verbal inspiration of all the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments, and that they are the final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21;
Matthew 5:18; John 6:12-13).

God

We teach there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

Jesus

We teach the virgin birth of Christ, and that He is true God and true Man (John 11:2, 14; Luke 13:14).

Redemption

We teach that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that with His shed blood obtained for us an eternal redemption (Romans 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7).

The Resurrection

We teach the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, as well as His ascension into heaven, and His present life there as our high priest and advocate (Acts 1:9-10; Hebrews 7:25, 9:24).

End Times

We teach the imminent, personal and premillennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-6; 1
Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9).

Sin

We teach the total depravity of all mankind, and the absolute necessity of regeneration (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:22-23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3, 12).

Salvation

We teach that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from works, and is possessed permanently by all who have by faith received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19).

Holy spirit

We teach that the Holy Spirit is a divine person and that He indwells all believers. We teach that the baptism of the Holy spirit is the sovereign work of God that occurs at the moment of conversion, whereby the Holy Spirit places the believer in the Body of Christ (John 16:8-11; 2 Corinthians 3:6; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13).

Eternity

We teach the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost (Matthew 24:46; John 5:28-29, 11:25-26; Revelation 20:5-6, 12-13; Luke 16:19-26; Matthew 25:41-46).
